Does it seem funny when we say that we have no editor and still we are having a news category called "Editorial"!
Ok, it seemed funny to a lot of people. Some even thought that, people who started this website are going to write in this editorial section.
Sorry that we do not have any such plan. The editorial section, like many other sections, is open to all. Anyone can write an article under editorial section.
Reasons behind keeping this editorial section open:
We know that editors reserve the most powerful position in news organizations. Even though sub editors play a major role, the title "Editor" plays a huge role in common psyche – like the big boss of that organization.
And the best thing about the position of an editor in a newspaper is that you do not see him or her, but you find someone speaking something in a dogmatic voice.
HE or SHE has a view to represent; HE or SHE has some clear message to dispense among you; He or SHE is the person who runs the newspaper; HE or SHE knows more than you about anything – does that editor seem like a GOD or something?
The position has become something like God (or perhaps it was same from the very beginning) – it represents someone who is not supposed to be questioned.
